Shoei X-Eleven
Introducing Shoei's top-of-the-line racing helmet. The
ALL New X-eleven, a study of safety design, ventilation and aerodynamic engineering.
Aerodynamic Shell Design
Aerodynamic properties are maximized through extensive wind tunnel testing and professional
riders' feedback. The Aero Edge Spoiler dramatically reduces drag and lift coefficients,
thus diminishing rider fatigue and increasing performance.
Hyper Dual-Liner II Ventilation System
Offers unmatched ventilation with internal channels and exhaust ports throughout
the helmet. The Dual Air Charge system: A forehead lower intake and a forehead upper
"Air Scoop II", combine to maximize flow-through ventilation. Outlet holes in the
Aero Edge Spoiler allow warm air to be exhausted. The lower air intake provides
an additional source of air flow. The neck outlet vent allows for effective air
exhaust.
A.I.M. - Lightweight, Advanced Integrated Matrix
High performance fiber materials are combined with extremely elastic organic fibers
to create a shell structure that is ultra lightweight, rigid and resilient. (1450
grams = 3.19 lbs)
Anti-Fog System
Exhaled air is absorbed into the "Breath Chamber II" and exhausted by negative air
pressure, thus eliminating shield fogging. The lower air intake provides air flow
that helps to diminish shield fogging.
3D Full Support Interior
The entire interior lining (cheek pads, upper liner and chin strap covers) is easily
removed to allow for cleaning. Each component of the inner liner is ergonomically
designed to offer safety, fit and comfort. Comes with chin strap clip (New).

DOT Approved German and Jockey
Always wanted to wear one of those
cool looking German or Jockey style helmets
but then found out they were only novelties and wouldn't protect your noggin?
Well, finally that novelty look with DOT approval is here.
DOT approved German and Jockey style helmets have shown up for sale in a few places
on the net, hard to find in retail outlets however. Usually selling for $80
to $100 these helmets are a little larger than their Novelty cousins but if want
DOT that the trade off. We tried both the German and Jockey and although slightly
larger in profile, we found the fit and look more than acceptable.

The Shoei Syncrotec Helmet
Offers the protection and quietness of a full-face helmet, and the convenience of
an open face. Now it takes just one hand to flip open the entire chin-bar and face
shield with its single centrally located latch. It also has the standard, no-tools
CK-1 face shield. The shield has excellent optical clarity and Shoei claims that
it provides almost 100% protection from UVA & B rays. Having pockets around the
ears mean an easy fit for a sound system without having to cut into the protection.
This DOT approved helmet has a shell constructed of fiber composite.
With the helmet in the closed position, the face shield lifts completely out of
your eye view as you can see in the photo. The Syncrotec is Shoei’s second-generation
flip-front helmet. The flip up convenience permits you to easily communicate with
someone else nearby. Shoei claims this helmet has many hours of wind tunnel testing
to eliminate wind noise and drag. There are both upper and lower ventilation ports
that help in keeping your head comfortable and it only weighs a light 3.6 lbs. This
is an extremely comfortable helmet.
MSRP: $391.99-$405.99.
